During today’s Unpacked event, Samsung introduced the Galaxy S24. In addition, the company introduced artificial intelligence features under the name “Galaxy AI,” ushering in a new era.
However, towards the end of the event, a surprise was revealed. The long-rumored smart ring, Galaxy Ring, was displayed. Samsung did not share any details about the Galaxy Ring, but it officially confirmed the device’s existence. According to the short video and statements made by the company, Galaxy Ring will come as a smart health tracking device, offering some artificial intelligence features as well.
As for what we know about the device, that’s about it. Samsung did not provide any information on other aspects, including the release date. However, information that surfaced in recent months suggested that the device might come with EKG and PPG sensors useful for functions such as measuring heart rate. Additionally, it was mentioned that the Galaxy Ring could potentially integrate with other Samsung devices for control purposes.
